AquaLase® Liquefaction Device breaks up the clouded lens with pulses of warm, naturally balanced solution (essentially salt water) to "wash away" the lens. The new technology may reduce the risk of thermal burns and other potential complications.

The increased flexibility and greater options that this system incorporates allows for more control over the lens removal procedure, which potentially offers the reduced risk of complications.
