drmoshegov

Dr. Con Moshegov, principal surgeon at Perfect Vision Laser Correction, is among Australia’s most highly respected and trusted experts in the field of refractive surgery.

A specialist refractive, corneal and cataract surgeon and graduate of the medical faculty of the University of Sydney, Dr Moshegov underwent his specialist training at the Sydney Eye Hospital. Upon completion of his specialist training in Australia, he embarked on advanced fellowship training in corneal and refractive surgery in the United Kingdom.

Dr Moshegov has published numerous papers in internationally recognised ophthalmic journals. He has presented his work at both local and international meetings and has lectured in England, France, Japan, China, Vietnam, Canada and the USA.

Soon after returning from his fellowship training overseas, Dr Moshegov was appointed to Concord Hospital, a teaching hospital of the University of Sydney. This allowed him to be engaged in the education of registrars undergoing specialist ophthalmic training. This included the teaching of advanced microsurgical skills. He has served as Director of Ophthalmology at Concord Hospital.

Dr Moshegov performed his first refractive laser procedure in London in 1994 and in Australia he has had widespread experience in cataract and refractive surgery. To date he has performed well over 10,000 procedures. He decided early in his career to concentrate on refractive surgery as his specialty, and he is one of only a handful of surgeons to have done so in Australia.
