Its 3D mapping technology creates a blueprint of your eye, allowing us to custom-fit the iLASIK™ procedure for each of your eyes.

Making the iLASIK™ Flap

The IntraLase FS™ Method is a 100% blade-free approach to creating your corneal flap, with well over 1 million procedures completed around the world to date.
Unlike traditional methods of creating LASIK corneal flaps which utilise a stainless steel blade, the IntraLase FS™ Method utilises high frequency pulses of laser light to create your corneal flap. This method not only makes iLASIK™ safer, as no blade is used in the process, but provides you with a better visual outcome.
The ultra fast IntraLase Laser creates a thin flap of corneal tissue. The flap is then folded back in preparation for the third and final step of your iLASIK™ procedure.
